Where is DOSE located?
DOSE is located in River Links Estate, Helensvale QLD 4212 on the Gold Coast. We operate from a private home studio off Hope Island Road. Your exact address is provided upon booking.
Who performs the treatments at DOSE?
All treatments at DOSE are performed by Brittni Little; a registered nurse (AHPRA NMW0002904696), dermal clinician (BHScDT), and beauty therapist (DipBT). You will always be treated by Brittni personally.
Is DOSE a medical clinic?
DOSE is a nurse-led skin and cosmetic clinic. Brittni is an AHPRA-registered nurse which means she can perform treatments - including cosmetic injectables - that are outside the scope of a standard beauty therapist. All treatments are delivered within Brittni's scope of practice and in compliance with Queensland Health regulations.
Do I need a consultation before booking?
For most treatments, you can book directly. For cosmetic injectables, a consultation is required first. For clients with complex skin concerns or significant scarring, Brittni recommends starting with a skin consultation - online or in-person - to build the right treatment plan before diving in.
Treatments
What skin concerns do you treat at DOSE?
We treat a wide range of skin concerns including ageing and loss of firmness, acne and congestion, hyperpigmentation and sun damage, scarring (acne, surgical, and injury), rosacea and sensitivity, dehydration, and uneven texture and tone. If you're unsure whether we can help with your specific concern, reach out — we're happy to chat.
What is the difference between skin needling and microneedling?
They are the same treatment! 'Microneedling' is the commonly used consumer term, while 'skin needling' or 'collagen induction therapy' are the clinical terms. At DOSE, we use medical-grade needling devices and clinical protocols for results that go beyond what you'd get at a standard beauty salon.
Do you offer cosmetic injectables?
Yes. Brittni is an AHPRA-registered cosmetic nurse and offers cosmetic injectable treatments including wrinkle relaxants, dermal fillers, and skin boosters. Due to TGA advertising regulations we're unable to detail specific products online, all injectable discussions happen in consultation.
Are your treatments safe for all skin tones?
Yes. At DOSE, every client's Fitzpatrick skin type is assessed prior to treatment, and all protocols are adapted accordingly. We are particularly mindful of the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation in medium to deeper skin tones, and our treatment and product choices reflect this. We treat all Fitzpatrick types safely and confidently.
